We are constantly faced with numerous misunderstanding issues with Middle East customers related to Toyota and Lexus vehicles imported from the United States, and the question is whether it's possible to change maps to the Middle East.
Well, we can definitely say that this is the one of the most complicated and pressing questions nowadays.
Unfortunately, today there are no official easy solutions to change navigation maps from the United States to the Middle East. Toyota and Lexus cars, especially for the US market, have a rather complex and secure system that doesn't support changing the map region.
The same is for other regions as well. This operation can only be performed by replacing the hardware and must be carried out by qualified specialists under service conditions. Moreover, this procedure is an unauthorized intervention and will void your manufacturer's warranty.

Hi. Don't get me wrong, but there's nothing ahead. What solution are you waiting for? Toyota/Lexus don't want their vehicles to switch from one region to another which is obvious, and due to each vehicle is designed for use in a specific country, they don't provide solutions for adapting it to another country or region. Most car manufacturers do that. Regarding Toyota and Lexus, there's still a way to modify the hardware and software to change language and maps, but there are many limitations due to hardware differences in systems used in the US and the Middle East. There's nothing that can ever be done remotely for that reason. You need to find a specialist (a car software engineer who works with Toyota/Lexus) in your area to do that. Or just find a used head unit from a Lexus with GCC-specs: for example, any 2016-2021 Lexus LX head unit (from a GCC specs model) would fit into a 2016-2019 Lexus RX (US model).

If I purchased any car logo Toyota that's mean I bought from Toyota made in Japan nothing more , if I get the car with a Toyota logo from moon that's not mean it's belong to moon or another company rather Toyota, I get my car from US salvage and that because it's much cheaper with little defects and all I want to install middle east map and even the Jordan Toyota dealer says it's impossible very difficult and against rolls, wooow the main company says can't and dealer says can't and customer says shit on that , getting 2017 Prius and install screen in 60$ to operate maps , that screen cost 60$ says to me , forget Toyota engineering have experience 100 years on dust and remove the OEM and install me , I solve the problem cheaper than what you offer and Im from that point any one asked me about Toyota I says " be careful they can't solve a screen map issue , not recommended "

Mohad, I feel for you. Most manufacturers design their cars for use within a specific region, and they don't care that they can be resold to another region later, which is quite natural. BTW, we have nothing to do with that.

it's a real shame... just a map. everybody nows vehicule are imported everywhere in the world. today we are in a world wide, not in a single region. no africa map ??? incredibale, we are in 2024 come-on guys !
